This is so sweet!

Victoria Beckham has opened up about family life in the Beckham household – and it seems that looks really can be deceiving!

The 43-year-old was quick to put to rest any rumours that her marriage to former football stud David Beckham might be in trouble when talking to Vogue Netherlands recently. Plus, the mother-of-four also poked fun at those infamous paparazzi snaps of her less-than-sunny expression.

“If I really was as miserable as I look in some of those paparazzi pictures, my children wouldn’t be as happy as they are. And I certainly wouldn’t be married anymore” Victoria told the magazine.

“David and I have a lot of fun together” the happily married mum stated.

Speaking to Vogue Australia in the past, the fashion designer and former Spice Girl revealed that the secret to her family’s contentment is that her brood of four are really comfortable in their own skins.

“My children are all very happy and that’s the most crucial thing. They are happy, confident and secure in themselves,” she said.

She also went on to reveal that five-year-old Harper is really coming into her own:
“Harper has a better social life than I do,” before adding that her only daughter has “a lot of friends.”

Victoria: focusing on family time

The 42-year-old’s comments come just after she told the Sunday People that her and husband David’s lives centre around Brooklyn, 17, Romeo, 14,  Cruz, 11 and Harper, 5.

“My four children and David are my first priority. When there’s a play on or a parent/teacher meeting, I’m there.”
And it seems that parenting duties are split equally between the A-list couple:

“David and I are rarely away at the same time. We do the homework, the bath time and the bed time.”

Victoria also revealed that she gets some quality mother-daughter time each morning, taking Harper on the daily school run.

“Paying someone to do those things for you to make your life easier isn’t wrong but they’re important to me.”

The mother-of-four also gushed about her hubby David to the Today programme in the US saying: “He’s my soulmate. He’s the most incredible husband. We complement each other. He inspires me every day, with the children, the way he treats me; it just works. We are lucky to have each other.” Guess there’s absolutely nothing to worry about in that marriage there then! After nearly two decades together, Victoria and David really seem to have found the key to a long and happy marriage. Congrats guys!
