Winter Wonderland, Hyde Park
Over the past couple of years, Winter Wonderland has fast become London’s number one Christmas destination. Take time out from the excitement of the attractions, including an ice rink, circus and rides, to stroll around the markets. There are 200 stalls to choose from selling jewellery, clothing, crafts and culinary delights. Open now until 5 January
The Bath Christmas market returns this year, set in the picturesque streets and squares surrounding Bath Abbey and the Roman Baths. Consisting of more than 150 beautiful, illuminated wooden chalets, this is the biggest Christmas shopping event in the South West region. It’s an excellent place to browse high-quality decorations, gifts, festive foods, clothes and toys. Open from 28 November – 15 December.
Experience a German-style Christmas market in the heart of Oxford. This traditional market is located by the historical university building. The beautifully decorated stalls will be selling Christmas gifts and seasonal treats, while local choirs and bands’ performances add to the festive feel. Open from 13 – 22 December
Take a walk along London’s iconic Southbank to take in the sounds, lights and sights of London at Christmas time. The market has 80 wooden chalets filled with food, drink and treats all along the riverside. Why not experience the London Eye while you’re there? Open now until 24 December.
