She always looks amazing!
As a brand ambassador for L’Oreal singer and mum-of-one Cheryl needs to exude head-to-toe glamour, whatever the occasion. While the 33-year-old has a naturally glowing complexion and an envious mane of chestnut brown hair, she stills swears by certain wonder products.
Her passion for beauty is such that despite giving birth to her little boy a month ago, she has still had time to relaunch her collection for leading eyelash brand eylure!
Cheryl Cole Makeup bag – what’s inside?
We think she looks absolutely fab in the above photos and we’re sure that boyfriend Liam Payne would agree! And the most amazing thing about Cheryl’s look? It achieves that barely there effect that many of us spend ages trying to perfect and very rarely get too. Cheryl Cole has previously admitted that she started experimenting with makeup at the age of 13 or 14, so maybe years of practise is her secret?! But before we take a quick peak around Cheryl’s makeup bag, lets reflect on this end-of-day pearl of wisdom from Chezza:
“If you use a white flannel a day after you’ve had make-up on, you can see that you’ve still got some on, so I like to take off the debris and make sure I’ve cleaned my pores. I like a facewash with a bit of exfoliant in it.”
Yes ladies, if you’re going to put the slap on, don’t forget to take it off before you hunker down for the night!
Fake big eyes like Cheryl with her top tips for eyeliner. ‘I use a liquid liner across the top of my lashes. Starting in the corner of the eye and following it across, then I always use a black kohl for the inside of the eye and just smudge it in. It takes a while to actually get there, but I think it’s quite easy to do. And remember, everyone’s eyes are different, so you just have to go with it.’ Give it a go with Rimmel Glam’eyes liquid eyeliner, £5.29.
Cheryl reveals the simple secret behind her flawless skin, ‘Cleanse thoroughly before you go to bed and moisturise. It’s what I’ve been saying for years. It’s a must because your skin rejuvenates overnight, that’s when it’s healing; when you’re resting, it’s working – your skin is an organ.’We love No7 Beautiful Skin Night Cream, £13.50, Apply before bed and wake up to radiant skin!
Exfoliating is an integral part of Chez’s beauty routine. ‘When I was growing up, we only had a bath, so that’s what I’m used to,’ she said. ‘Although I shower in the mornings, I prefer having a bath to exfoliate or shave my legs. Exfoliating helps bad circulation and makes your skin softer, so I do it twice a week and I’ve really noticed the difference.’
Try Cheryl’s top tip for weather-worn hair. ‘I bought Elvive Extraordinary Hair Oil, £9.99, when I was away and loved it so much that I called home to check that it was available in the UK,’ she said. ‘If it hadn’t been I would have absolutely stocked up – it’s amazing stuff and it really saved my hair.’
Our favourite Geordie doesn’t need fancy pots and potions to keep her skin glowing. Cheryl says, ‘I swear by washing my make-up off and moisturising before bedtime, as this is when skin rejuvenates. I use E45 Cream, £2.19, and Vaseline Lip Therapy, £1.99. I’m not interested in Botox. I don’t judge others but it’s not for me.’
