– 3 scrambled eggs and a glass of smooth fresh pineapple juice

– 2 eggs and 2 rashers bacon, grilled or fried. Tea or coffee

– 1 pot of plain yogurt with honey. 2 boiled eggs


Eat fish (cod, haddock or salmon) or cold meats m such as chicken or bacon, with mixed-leaf salads and homemade dressings

– Fresh salmon salad with dill and crème fraiche dressing and a head of baby gem lettuce, sliced. Squeeze half a lemon over the top

– Cold coronation chicken. Breast of chicken in a little curried, apricot mayonnaise, served with a head of a baby gem lettuce

– Bacon and avocado salad. Half an avocado diced with 2 rashers of lean back bacon, cold and crumbled. Toss in a little mayo mixed with yogurt and lemon juice, and serve with a large helping of green salad leaves with lamb’s lettuce


– Roast chicken wrapped in bacon with 1tbsp carrots and 1tbsp peas

– Standard small fillet steak, grilled or barbequed, served with crème fraiche and black pepper, and a mixed green salad

– Vegetable Bolognaise. Make a sauce of mixed vegetables, tomato puree and Italian seasoning to taste. Serve on a large handful (when dry) of penne or fusilli pasta. Add a green salad and a little grated parmesan
