Stuck for something to do with the kids this summer? Look no further than Lollibop – an entertainment extravaganza that promises to be a brilliant day out for all the family.
The festival, running from 16-18 August, will take place in the iconic Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park as part of a series of events throughout the summer.
Kids can expect a whole host of activities, from Tween Town, where they can learn street dance, how to master the hula-hoop and take a crash course in beat boxing, to the Lollibop kitchen, where aspiring chefs can cook up some tasty treats.
Children can also expect to see some of their favourite characters, including Peppa Pig, Hello Kitty and Shaun the Sheep, as well as old favourite Postman Pat!
Lollibop – or The Big Bash For Little People – is now in its fourth year and remains the biggest kids’ festival in the UK.
Event Manager, Jenny Kane, said: ‘LolliBop has gone from strength to strength since our first event in 2011 and the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park gives us the opportunity to create an even more exciting and dynamic family day out.
‘It’s an amazing opportunity for LolliBop to be part of such an important legacy.’
