Q: I keep getting dizzy spells which last for a short while. I take blood pressure tablets but am not sure that they are the cause?
A: Do go and see your GP and get some things checked out. It is always worth checking your blood pressure and making sure your tablets are not lowering it too much.
Other causes of dizziness can include Benign Positional Vertigo, labyrinthitis or Meniere’s disease which affect the inner ear.
You may also have other symptoms like ringing in your ears or problems hearing in some cases. Please get yourselfchecked over as dizziness can cause falls or injury,
Remember do not drive or do any dangerous activities whilst you are unwell.
