Hi everyone

Last night was circuit training for me and Charlotte.  Once again we nearly talked each other out of going, but this week it was me who stood ground and made us don our kits and get to the gym. Trainer Tone was there in full-on, ex-army mode – complete with t-shirt emblazened with the words CIRCUIT TRAINER just in case we should mistake him for one of us – as if!!

I do feel I can refer to him as ‘Tone’ now I’ve been going to his class for a few weeks. In fact, me and Tone have become NBFF’s in a sort of  love/hate way. He loves shouting very loud instructions at me and I hate the way he always appears behind me at the precise second I give in to exhaustion! He never turns-up mid-way through a set of killer burpees or excruciating tricep-dips – funny that! Last night’s class was hard – 7 stations with 6 exercises on each –  my thighs and bum kill this morning, but like that old chinese proverb goes ‘no pain no gain’ and we survived, worked off 600 calories and felt really great for going. See you next week Tone!  Oh, La Senza thong girl was wearing a pretty Tiffany-blue coloured one last night! Lol!

This morning I was up and super-organised (god knows why), so today I decided to save a few pounds and make my own lunch. I rummaged around the fridge and came up with a half eaten packet of smoked salmon (Aldi’s is the best and only £2.79 for 200g), half an avocado and some salad – voila Smoked Salmon, & Avocado Salad = 315 calories – and delicious it was too!

All will go well until about 4.00pm today as this afternoon/evening I have a double challenge to face!  I’m off to Claridges (as you do!) for the launch of the lovely Holly Willoughby’s new Summer Collection for Very and from there I’m meeting Andy and we’re going to see Emeli Sande. Both occasions will undoubtedly involve food and drink! Champagne and macaroons at Claridges and probably a pint and a packet of crisps at Hammersmith Apollo!
