Ditch the shop bought burgers in favour of these low calorie minty lamb burgers for just 96p per serving. They take just 22 minutes to make, much quicker than a trip to the supermarket!

 

YOU WILL NEED


400g lean lamb mince
Zest of 1 unwaxed lemon
1tsp ground cumin
½ tsp crushed chillies
1 garlic clove, finally chopped
100g-feta cheese, crumbled
Half a 28g pack fresh mint, finely chopped
2tbsp extra virgin olive oil
4 ciabatta rolls or soft white bread cut in half.

HOW TO DO IT
1. Put the lamb mince, lemon zest, ground cumin, chilli, chopped garlic, feta and mint into a large bowl, and mix together with your hands until all the ingredients are combined.

2. Shape the mixture into 4 burgers, brush with 1tbsp of the oil, and cook in a large non stick frying pan on the grill for 5-6 mins each side.

3. Brush the ciabatta halves or rolls with the remaining oil and griddle cut-side down, for 1 min, until crisp and seared with lines. Top with a burger and serve with fresh coleslaw.
