Part of the show is getting a new look and feel...

Channel 4 drama Hollyoaks has had viewers tuned into it’s dramatic plot lines for more than 30 years.

And now show producers are looking to shake things up once more. This time it’s the show’s rolling credits getting the makeover treatment.

A host of character’s from the long-running drama will be all smiles – or frowns depending on the scene – as opening titles begin.

The show’s theme tune has also experienced subtle change, with English breakbeat musician A-Skillz giving them his unique treatment.

Speaking about the refresh of the titles producer Bryan Kirkwood said:

‘I am thrilled with the new titles. I think they are vibrant, fun and glossy.

‘And from the first opening guitar riff feel completely Hollyoaks. It is great to see our characters in their own precincts and they will evolve as characters come and go.’

The titles also include a sleek new Hollyoaks logo, and all made their debut last night at 6.30pm.
