Simon Cowell is taking his Britain’s Got Talent format to the Middle East… war torn Afghanistan to be exact.
The music mogul, 53, is already looking for Afghan stars to join the judging panel, and British troops currently serving in the country are also eligible to take part.
‘Simon has always believed Got Talent can work anywhere, because – no matter where you are – people have amazing talents,’ a source revealed. ‘There may be a war raging in Afghanistan – but people are still living their lives and they enjoy watching TV just like anyone else.’
Astonishingly, this will make it the 58th country to take up the popular format.
Mr Cowell must be delighted!
