McFly star Tom and Giovanna broke the news to fans by recording a video of them carving out the words ‘we’re having a baby’ into pumpkins. How very festive of them!

In the background the happy couple can be heard singing a self-penned lullaby to their unborn child which includes the lyrics, ‘It’s a strain to contain my excitement. I can barely get to sleep at night when I know that in  a couple of months I’ll be holding you in my arms. I’ll be right beside you all my life.’
