We’ve found out what Prince George calls The Queen! The Duchess of Cambridge has revealed some rather sweet facts in her latest, and first, solo TV interview. Taking part in a special Commonwealth Service in the run up to the Queen’s 90th birthday, Kate revealed that little Prince George calls his great grandmother, ‘Gan-Gan’.
Hello reported that The Duchess said, “George is only two-and-a-half and he calls her ‘Gan-Gan.’ She always leaves a little gift or something in their room when we go and stay and that just shows her love for her family.”
It was a lovely insight into the loving relationship that Prince William and Kate’s two children have with the Queen and it certainly melted hearts in our office!
Kate also talked about the support she feels she gets from the Queen and revealed, “She’s been very generous in not being forceful at all and in any of her views, but I feel she’s been there, a gentle guidance really for me.” How lovely.
Kate’s interview will appears in the ITV documentary Our Queen at Ninety, which airs on Easter Sunday.
It also features Prince Charles, Prince William and Harry, the Duke of York and many more.
It’s a two hour royal extravaganza and we can’t WAIT!
