Time and time again the Duchess of Cambridge is photographed looking flawless. Whether it’s dressed for work on official visits in the day, or in a series of beautiful outfits and gowns for evening events.

It was on one of these occasions, in front of a party full of VIPs with Kate looking so slim, that a fellow guest questioned the Duchess on the secret behind her super svelte figure.

According to university professor BulBul Dhar-James, he asked her, “How do you lose all the weight after having two kids?”

But Kate’s answer didn’t allude to any FAD diets, or cutting out meals. Instead the mum-of-two said that she keeps the weight off because she’s constantly running around after Prince George and Princess Charlotte!

As well as keeping up with the demands of being a mum to two little ones, the Duchess is also said to keep her trim figure through a combination of yoga and running. In addition to working out alone, she also enjoys playing tennis with Prince William at Anmer Hall. Although she finds playing him quite frustrating! [READ MORE ABOUT THAT HERE]

It’s also been reported that the Duchess of Cambridge starts her mornings with a kale, spinach, romaine lettuce, coriander and blueberry juice! She also adds super-food spirulina to her healthy vitamin-rich start to the day. Among a host of other benefits, spirulina is great for boosting energy, as well as speeding up weight-loss!

Shona Wilkinson, Nutritionist at SuperfoodUK, explains:

Spirulina contains a combination of vital minerals such as Magnesium, Calcium, Potassium, Iron, Zinc, and Phosphorous as well as a complete group of vitamin B. It’s also rich in several anti-oxidants, which protect body cells and improves allergy symptoms.

Plus, we know that the Duchess also tries to limit how much sugar is in her diet. The 35-year-old stays away from sugary snacks, making herself a special treat if she has cravings. Find out what the special snack is, which you can easily make at home, HERE!

Looking at Kate’s glowing skin and shiny hair we have to admit it certainly looks like the Duchess’s diet is working!

Professor Dhar-James had nothing but warm words to say about William and Kate, commenting: ‘They were both really gracious. She was so welcoming and warm. We told her, “You look much better in person than in your photographs”. Hopefully Kate took that as the compliment it was intended to be!
