This is such an adorable moment...
Just when we thought the royal tour to Canada couldn’t get more exciting, news comes in that Princess Charlotte has made an exciting debut. The young royal managed to steal the limelight from her older brother Prince George at a children’s party thrown in their honour.
As Charlotte excitedly banged on a toy drum and flashed her biggest smile at mum Kate Middleton, she uttered her first ever words in public. While running towards a pretty balloon arch and throwing her arms around it, 16-month-old Charlotte squealed “pop”.
This one word was enough to melt the hearts of guests attending the bash in the gardens of Government House, British Columbia. And Charlotte’s impressive display didn’t end there.
The young princess also bounced up and down on patient therapy dog Moose. And leaned in to give a black-and-white rabbit one of her signature hugs in the on-site petting zoo.
And proving that she takes after her mum in the fashion stakes, Charlotte toddled her way around the event in a £74 blue and coral smocked dress by Pepa & Co. The Spanish children’s clothing brand is a favourite with Kate and Wills.
Continuing on the Latin theme, Charlotte also enjoyed dance along to La Bamba while sitting in Kate’s arms.
Prince George has his moment too…
And not to be outdone Prince George also showed off his play skills at the event, blowing bubbles out of a orange fish bubble gun.
And he also gave his dad William the sweetest of father-son hugs.
Three-year-old George also looked delighted when presented with a balloon creation from the party’s resident balloon artist.
We think Charlotte and George make the most adorable pair, and we’re sure they’ll continue to wow at royal events.
