Great British Bake Off star Paul Hollywood has been axed from the Strictly Come Dancing line-up due to disagreements on his salary.
BBC bosses offered him a hefty £35,000, but Paul apparently demanded £50,000 to compete in the Saturday Night Show.
Paul’s rumoured romance with his American Baking Competition co-host Marcela Valladolid also didn’t help matters.
A source said: ‘There were some scheduling issues, he couldn’t agree on money and some of the other executives felt that with all the drama in his private life that he wouldn’t be good for the show.’
Paul’s wife Alexandra Hollywood revealed last month that she is divorcing Paul on grounds of adultery.
