Twins have a notoriously close relationship but when Olly Murs skipped his twin brothers' wedding a huge feud broke out. Should he forgive Olly?

It turns out even the celebs are faced with wedding dilemmas. But this one might make you double think about who to feel sorry for. Can Olly Murs’ twin ever forgive his brother and do you think he should?

Olly is desperate to end the eight-year feud but when you hear how the argument broke out, whose side will you back?

Shockingly, Olly reportedly skipped his twin’s wedding for the X Factor. He was appointed best man by his brother, Ben, but due to commitments with the show’s semi-final Olly could not make the big day.

Ben Murs was so angry with his brother that he even changed his last name to create more distance between himself and Olly. During an interview with The Sun Olly has opened up and spoken about the torment of the feud.

He said: “Every artist has a dark side or something that is against them, mine was always my brother. I think there’s still a love there between all of us, it’s just about finding a resolution and finding that moment in time where you can make it all come together and be fine.”

Ben took on the surname Hart from his wife as he blames Olly’s music career for ruining their relationship. Olly is optimistic that that the two will be able to put things rights. He said: “I’ve got no doubt it will happen – I’m sure it will because we’re family and regardless of everything that’s happened I’m sure we can come to some understanding and love will come through.”

What do you think?

Do you think Olly and Ben should put the past behind them or does Olly’s twin have every right to still be angry? Let us know in the comments below or on our Facebook page!

He added: “My mum and dad have always said you should keep it behind closed doors. I won’t be shouting from the rooftops, we’ll do that privately and everything hopefully will work out.”

We hope the twins find a way to move forward, but it is clearly going to be a difficult process. Can you understand why Olly’s twin was so angry? Could you ever forgive your best friend for doing something like this, let a lone a family member? If it wasn’t Olly Murs would you have another opinion on the situation?
