Fans of This Morning did not hold back on their criticisms for Phil and Holly's replacement presenters. The new duo did not impress one bit...
This Morning has reshuffled its presenters this week as regulars Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield are on holiday. Lucky them! But viewers are less than happy with the situation and have had a lot to say about their replacements, Rylad Clark-Neal and Alison Hammond…
Rylan and Alison faced a wave of Twitter backlash, with fans seriously disappointed in their presenting skills.
Viewers called the regular hosts to cut their holiday short and get back to presenting the show.
One user said: “#ThisMorning the worse 2 presenters ( I say that very loosely) on telly. Gutted, might as well be at work!”. Another added: “S***tiest presenters on TV EVER!!! #ThisMorning.”
Rylan and Alison have stepped in to present This Morning on a number of previous occasions. It seems viewers were just not that impressed with their latest efforts!
Not everyone was as critical of Rylan and Alison and several people welcomed the change.
One user said: “Loved Alison and Rylan on this morning hope to see more of them x” another added: “
#ThisMorning , what a brilliant combination Alison and Rylan, just what you need on a bank holiday #alisonhammond”.
Alison and Rylan were only replacing Phil and Holly for the Bank Holiday Monday episode on 29 May. Speaking to the Daily Express Alison said she wouldn’t consider hosting the show full time. She said: “I’ll fill in, but I don’t want to do it permanently. Do you know what I mean? Leave that to the professionals.”
So fans of Phil and Holly will be relieved to hear that the replacement is not permanent. The pair do have an infectious habit of making us all laugh and we love seeing them together on screen!
Phil has been have enjoying a family trip to America – and he hasn’t been holding back on the Instagram posts!
The “Shofe” family snapped themselves outside the wizarding world at Universal Studios in Florida. Another pic shows him and his family all smiling outside Disney Land.
We’re rather jealous!
