Get well soon Bruce!
Oh no! Sir Bruce Forsyth, 87, was rushed to hospital yesterday after falling at his home in Surrey. Apparently the TV presenter fell and hit his head, and is now suffering from concussion and cuts, so has been told he needs complete bed rest for at least a week. Get well soon Bruce!
Bruce was just about to appear on the BBC Variety Show and at the London’s Dominion Theatre to record Bruce’s Hall of Fame alongside comedian Catherine Tate. He’s had to pull out of both – shame!
In a statement issued yesterday Kalooki Pictures said, ‘This morning, Sir Bruce Forsyth slipped and fell at his home resulting in facial abrasions and minor concussion. He attended hospital and had a series of scans and tests all of which happily proved negative. However, because of his injury, he has been told by doctors he must have complete rest for at least seven days.’
Famed for presenting Strictly Come Dancing, Sir Bruce left last year, and Claudia Winkleman took over his role alongside Tess Daly. Apparently the producers of Strictly scheduled rest weeks into Bruce’s schedule during filming to help him cope with the workload during the live shows.
We are sure Bruce is being cared for at home by his wife Wilnelia who he has been married to for 31 years.
