Casualty was the surprise winner for ‘Best Drama,’ beating stiff competition from The Night Manager and Happy Valley. For all those who were hoping Happy Valley would win, the show still received some recognition on the night for Sarah Lancashire’s gripping performance as Catherine Cawood.

The awards themselves were as fancy as ever – we can just see this sitting on our mantlepiece nicely…

One of the other winners on the night was Mary Berry, who dominated the ‘Best TV Judge’ category. So deserved!

Rochelle Hulmes, a woman after our own heart swapped the cocktails for chips. Sharing a pic of her midnight snack on Instagram, she wrote: “What really happens inside the #NTAs @officialntas.” So much love for this!
