Holly Willoughby’s recent weight loss has been the subject of much speculation after the star has shared snaps of her slowing slimming figure.
Fans have been taking to social media to not only voice their surprise as Holly’s shock new frame, but also their concern.
However, it seems that it’s not just the general public who have noticed the TV presenter’s changing appearance. An incredibly embarrassing TV blunder yesterday meant that Loose Women pannelist Nadia Sawalha was caught discussing Holly’s recent weight loss live on air. Not only was Nadia’s comment broadcast to the viewers watching at home, but her observation was also streamed live to Holly Willoughby herself! Awkward!
The incident happened during yesterday’s This Morning programme when Holly & Phil attempted to chat live to the Loose Women panellists.
“Holly Willoughby’s disappearing!” Nadia was overheard saying to the other presenters, just as the live link switched on to the Loose Women studio.
After the camera caught a shocked looking Philip Schofield and a visibly stunned Holly Willoughby, Ruth Langsford was quick to interject to try and save the moment.
“Hello, yes, you’ve caught us by surprise!” Ruth exclaimed. “We were talking about incontinence, Phillip” she added.
While Holly remained in a shocked silence throughout the awkward exchange, Phil clearly had her back during the uncomfortable incident.
“Cue, cue!” Phillip cried, attempting to salvage the live link. “Ah, there you go,” he added, before jokingly saying to Ruth, “That’s why we have to cover our sofa in plastic when you’re in on a Friday.”
It was this comment that caused a shocked Holly to burst out laughing in disbelief, before the live link was cut.
Viewers were equally shocked by the accidental broadcast of Nadia’s comments, and shared their reactions on social media.
“Holly looks great…I’m shocked they were stupid enough to say that to her on live TV” one fan said. “It’s only the jealous ones that have to comment you’re ‘too skinny!’ Shame on them” another said in Hollys defence. “Nadia should apologise!” one viewer suggested, while others agreed her comment was unprofessional and mean.
