We are so excited about seeing the dynamic presenting trio that is Mel, Sue and Mary Berry return to our screens this Christmas for a GBBO special! And while we know that those baking-related innuendos will definitely help us raise a smile or two as the the baking show we have come to know and love moves to Channel 4, we can’t help but lament on the GBBO-shaped hole in our lives come 2017.

But the good news is, is that all three presenters won’t be missing from our lives for too long. In fact, they’ve all been snapped up to front their very own shows.

Veteran pastry judge Mary will bring her winning charm to not one, but two BBC shows. The first is a new six-part series on BBC Two titled Mary Berry Everyday.

Here the 81-year-old will be whipping up everything from family classics to special occasion dishes for our viewing pleasure.

Mary will also host BBC1 programme Secrets From Britain’s Great Houses, set to air in 2017. The show explores the culinary histories of stately homes, providing inspiration for the TV baker’s selection of recipes.

Sue Perkins will take her wry observations on life to a the three-part series for BBC1 exploring the Ganges river in India. The Ganges with Sue Perkins is set to air next year and will reportedly earn the presenter a tidy sum.

Mel has landed a presenting role in new BBC talent show Let It Shine follows which follows Gary Barlow as he scouts out a new Take That to star in The Band – a forthcoming musical featuring the band’s greatest hits.

Mel and Sue will also be reunited next year as they co-host BBC1’s Let’s Sing and Dance for Comic Relief ahead of Red Nose Day 2017.

We can’t wait!
