Denise Welch has admitted that her starring role on new ITV talent show, Stepping Out, is likely to cause some embarrassment for her children.
The Loose Women star, who has two children Louis, 12 and Matt, 24, with former partner Tim, will appear on the dancing show alongside her husband Lincoln Townley.
Each week the pair will go head to head with other celebrity couples including Brian McFadden and his wife Vogue Williams, as well as JLS star Ortisé Williams and his partner A.J Azari.
Denise admitted: ‘I’ve embarrassed my children so much over the years, so I thought I’d give them some more!’
She continued: ‘Louis is forever giving his verdict on our dancing. He’s a cracking little mover himself, so he’s like: ‘Mum, you’ve got to give it more here and do this and that!’ Louis also likes taking the mickey out of Lincoln all the time – like the belts he wears and the hankies he uses – so now Louis thinks Lincoln learning to dance with me is the funniest thing he’s ever seen.’
Stepping Out starts this Saturday, ITV at 6:30pm.
