Recently retired head judge Len Goodman must have found it difficult to part ways with his £200,000+ yearly salary for appearing on Strictly. Len had been a judge on the show since 2004.
However, the 73-year-old was reportedly offered a huge deal to appear on the US version of the show ‘Dancing With The Stars’. Last year, the Daily Mail reported that Goodman had signed a £3.3 million deal to act as a judge on the American series.
A friend of the former Strictly judge told The Sun, “Len genuinely wanted to take a step back and enjoy a bit more free time. But he still has the energy of a man half his age so he thought why not. And the money is a bonus.”
