If there’s anyone for whom the term #relationshipgoals applies, it’s definitely Amal and George Clooney. They’re both gorgeous, ridiculously successful, AND enjoy jet-set, lavish lifestyles. Jealous? Us? Never…
And the adorable couple just keep getting better, as it’s revealed that Amal decided to throw a special surprise party for her husband’s 56th birthday last weekend.
According to E! News, Amal orchestrated an intimate party at their home in London for George Clooney’s birthday, with a source revealing to the American network that “Amal set it all up”. The party was attended by the couple’s nearest and dearest, with the source stating that “George was totally surprised!”
And if social media is anything to go by, this was one hell of a bash.
“George was totally surprised!”
Supermodel Cindy Crawford was in attendance with her husband Rande Gerber, who posted a pic on Instagram of himself and George with a fancy-looking cake. The cake displayed tiny model figures of him and George at a bar, to tie in with their tequila business, CasaAmigos Tequila. The cake also featured a backdrop of sand and palm trees – impressive!
Rande went on to congratulate George on the fabulous party, and revealed that Amal was of course responsible for the incredible cake, saying “Thanks for the cool cake Amal.”
Cindy also wished her good pal a happy birthday over on her Instagram account, calling George “One of the classiest guys we know!”
Sadly Amal wasn’t pictured in any of the snaps from the celebrations. But given that she’s 7 months pregnant with twins, weren’t not surprised she was taking it easy!

This birthday will of course be George’s last before becoming a father. And it seems the actor is looking forward to the change of pace. Back in February, when the news was announced, he revealed “Look, it’s exciting, and we’re really happy and really excited. It’s going to be an adventure. We’ve sort of embraced it all . . . with arms wide open.”
