Martine McCutcheon has confessed she’s still a bit miffed by how she was axed from EastEnders – 19 years ago!

The actress, who played Tiffany Mitchell for almost four years, was killed off when she was run over by Frank Butcher – something she found out via the radio! “As an actress you never take for granted that you are going to be in a job for more than two minutes,” Martine, 41, said.

“But it was the way I was told– by listening to the radio! None of the other cast members believed me. They were like, “I cannot believe you didn’t tell us!’ I was like, ‘No, I am so embarrassed!’’

Nevermind Martine; with a new album launching next month, an adorable family, slimming success and a slot as a Loose Women panellist we think you can put your days on Albert Square well and truly behind you.
