A: Work-related stress is becoming more and more common, especially in these days of financial problems. You are not alone. The first thing to do is to recognise what is causing the stress and then see your line manager to chat about what practical changes you can make. If this is not possible, seeing Occupational Health or your GP may help to get some advice about your health. They may suggest change in work hours, exercise or advice about work/life balance. If not, see your local Citizens Advice Bureau who can give you excellent advice and if needed, legal advice or debt advice
