My morning-after-the-night-before bag of goodies

We take a look into our Lifestyle Assistant’s make-up bag

Clockwise from left:

Garnier Caffeine Eye Roll-On, £10.49, Boots – Dark circles be gone! (Need I say anything else). I keep it in the fridge for the ultimate de-puffer

Clinique Moisture Surge CC Cream SPF30, £28, House of Fraser – You may have heard of the famous BB (Blemish Balm) creams, well now meet the new CC (Colour Corrector) cream. This is my go-to, it’s lighter than foundation but with fabulous coverage. A must-buy!

YSL Creme Blush, £29, DebenhamsI change my make-up style every day, and if I fancy a flushed and fresh look then this cream blush is perfect – it’s so sheer and airy that it gives cheeks a healthy color

Bobbi Brown Bronze Shimmer Brick, £32, Debenhams – On these horrible drizzly days, I like a faux-glow! A gentle sweep of this leaves a lovely subtle honey shimmer. Shh, no one needs to know you haven’t been away! Note: the five colour bars work great as eye shadows too – a total investment buy

Weleda Skin Food, £4.95, Weleda – My secret weapon, I use this intensive moisturiser every night, but be warned it’s very rich. I dab a bit on my palms press together then pat over my face

Laura Mercier Eyebrow Pencil, £16.50, Space NK – I feel naked without my eyebrows, this is perfect to fill in the gaps. I use it in blonde, for a subtle shade

YSL Touche Eclat, £25, Boots – An oldy but a goody, I started using this five years ago and now it’s just a staple. Though I don’t use it under my eyes, instead I dot it around my nose and above my eyebrows for extra highlighting

Smooch Mascara, £8.95, Smooch – I’m an old fashioned gal and love this rich black colour, applied with a classic bristle brush. It doesn’t budge all day and really seperates my lashes
