Beauty Editor Stephanie’s subtle nail art look

Last week, we got an exclusive look at the new Essie Autumn nail range, which launches in September.

The six-piece collection features a glorious mix of colour, from on-trend metallics to a classic red that every woman should carry in their nail wardrobe.

Beauty Editor Stephanie opted for an intense navy, with a simple but stylish bit of nail art on her ring finger. With its muted tones, we’re calling this, the back to school mani! Here’s how to get the look…

Step 1. After base coat, paint two layers of Essie Nail Polish in After School Boy Blazer, £7.99.

Step 2. Select the finger you want to create your nail art on and carefully paint Essie Nail Polish in Blanc, £7.99, halfway down the nail up to the tip. You’ll need two coats of this.

Step 3. Using Essie Nail Polish in Cashmere Bathrobe, in £7.99, paint just above where the white section starts, moving to the end of the nail. You will be left with a thin white line. Paint another coat then finish with top coat.
