Showcasing her latest blonde tresses at the Met Ball in New york, Anne’s look was perfect for the Punk: Chaos To Couture theme of the night

The 30-year old actress has been growing her hair long again after shaving it for her Les Misérables role of Fantine in the 2012 film, but it’s at that annoying ‘in-betweeny’ stage so she opted for a Debbie-Harry inspired change.

We. Love.

Our beauty Ed, Stephanie Maylor says, ‘This platinum blonde hue works surprisingly well with Anne’s alabaster complexion. She’s left her bold brows untouched to make a modern style statement – think model of the moment Cara Delevingne and singer Gwen Stefani. This shade really freshens up her skintone and grown-out crop.’

But let’s not get too excited. She won’t be keeping the new blonde look for long, as she admitted to US Huffington Post: ‘It’s temporary. But as soon as I did it, I didn’t want it to be temporary any longer. I know I have to dye it back for my work.’

What a shame, we’re loving the new do!
