Fashion designer and mum-of-four Victoria Beckham is no stranger to being scrutinised over her appearance, with question marks over anything from her ‘fuller lips’ to her increasingly svelte figure. ‘I should probably say, don’t mess with your boobs,’ she wrote. Before adding:

‘All those years I denied it — stupid. A sign of insecurity. Just celebrate what you’ve got,’

The note to self garnered fresh attention after the fashion publication shared a link to it to mark the news that Victoria is in line for an OBE.

The letter also continues with a gushing tribute to hubby of 17 years David, recalling the moment they first locked eyes on each other.

‘Learn more about football, especially the offside rule. And yes, love at first sight does exist. It will happen to you in the Manchester United players’ lounge – although you will get a little drunk, so exact details are hazy,’ she begins. She continues in similarly loved up form with these touching words:

‘While the other football players stand at the bar drinking with their mates, you will see David standing aside with his family. (He’s not even in the first team at this stage – you are the famous one.)

‘And he has such a cute smile. You, too, are close to your family, and you will think how similar he feels to you. He’s going to ask for your number. (He still has the London-to-Manchester plane ticket on which you wrote it.)’

Awww!
