20th October 2016 – Steph and Dom quite Googlebox
Gogglebox’s favourite posh couple Steph and Dom have sensationally quit the hit reality TV show. Loyal fans of the series may have noticed the absence of the wine-swigging B & B owners from the recent series.
And now we can reveal what motivated their decision. The couple said they have left the Gogglebox sofa to give a new generation of armchair critics the chance to air their views on the week’s most popular TV shows.
“We think it’s important that everyone gets their chance to be on Gogglebox and give their opinion,” they told The Sun.
“Having been on it from the beginning we felt like we’d pretty much said all we needed to say, and we knew what we were going say.”
But far from retiring from the limelight the couple confirmed that they are working on other projects to fill the Gogglebox-shaped hole in their lives.
“We’ve got other projects and not a lot of time. We’re very busy and filming at the hotel was pretty tough.”
We can’t wait to hear more!

Commenting on the decision, and the show’s continued success, ITV’s director of television, Kevin Lygo said:
“We all said we only wanted to bring Cold Feet back if we could maintain the standard previously set. I’ve been blown away by the show’s reception among viewers and critics alike.

17th October 2016 – This Morning makes a massive soap blunder
Helen Worth’s appearance on hit daytime show This Morning, was a welcome sight for Coronation Street fans.
But as the credits introducing the 65-year-old star rolled across the screen, fans couldn’t help but notice that a major mistake had been made.
As Worth – who plays Gail Platt on the award-winning soap – spoke about her character’s latest drama, the following words appeared at the bottom of the screen:
‘Gail Rodwell plays Gail McIntyre.’
Not one to miss a trick, viewers took to Twitter to express their dismay:
Worth has starred in the soap for an impressive 42 years. And in that time her name changes have included Rodwell, Potter, Tilsley, Platt, Hillman and McIntyre. No wonder This Morning staff were flummoxed!

Following the success of Gogglesprogs, the hit reality show’s makers have announced that it will be launching a teen version.
Gogglebox Teens is likely to air on E4’s on-demand service, All 4. But first the show’s producers need to strike a deal with All3media and Channel 4.
Speaking about his hopes for the new show, Studio Lambert chief executive Stephen Lambert said:
“If Gogglesprogs is for kids and Gogglebox is for adults, there’s another group in the middle. There’s a whole layer of innovation as to how we’re going to make it.”
We’re keeping our fingers crossed that this comes off. And that there’ll be a teen version of Scarlett Moffatt to have us howling from our seats.

Our Girl fans took to Twitter to voice their anger over last night’s episode. When Captain Charles James (Ben Aldridge) meets up with Michelle Keegan’s on-screen fiancé he reveals something that shocked the show’s viewers.
Chatting to Dr Jamie Cole (Royce Pierreson) over coffee, Charles says: “My wife’s a serving soldier”.

27th September 2016 – Is Joan Collins joining the cast of Corrie?
It’s a casting call we didn’t see coming. But apparently the ever glamorous Joan Collins could make an appearance on the cobbles.
The 83-year-old actress is said to have her eye on hit soap Corrie. While it might seem like an unusual move for the Dame, she has actually rubbed shoulders with Corrie stars before. Joan appeared in a one-off spin-off for the soap back in 2000. During ‘Viva Las Vegas’ the A-list star bumped into Jack and Vera Duckworth on board a plane bound for Sin City. You couldn’t make it up!
On her soap ambitions a source told the Daily Star newspaper: “Joan loves ‘Corrie’ and has been making sure she is up to date with it while on the road. With any luck she could get a recurring role in it.”
Joan has also had an offer from primetime teen drama Hollyoaks. But it appears that she wasn’t willing to carve out time in her schedule for this offbeat appearance.
Joan told Dan Wootton’s Bizarre column: “I was just asked to be in Hollyoaks but I’m not doing it. You know who is doing it? Linda Gray.
“Between the movie and the new show I wouldn’t have the time for anything else.”
We can’t wait to see how this story develops!
