We hardly recognise the star!
This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby has posted a new slimmed down summer pic, leaving fans fearing that she’s shrinking before their eyes.
Worried comments from the 36-year-old star’s Instagram followers flooded in after she shared her #offduty look.
‘Gosh you look skinny here, hardly recognised you’, ‘How skinny do you look’, ‘You so skinny were have you gone xxx’
‘How have you lost weight x’, You look stunning but I miss your curves as a role model looking great though x’, ‘ Av u lost lost weight Mrs Willoughby ? Just curious…..’, ‘lost to much weight’, ‘Teeny tiny girl! You look awesome’.
The presenter first unveiled her dramatically slimmer silhouette at the Glamour Woman of the Year Awards earlier this month, leaving many fans concerned.
While her striking floral dress and platinum locks certainly turned heads, it was Holly’s teeny frame that was the real talking point.
Taking to social media fans of the star voiced their concerns that the mum-of-three was losing her trademark curves.
“Is it the photo or has holly lost more than half of her weight?” one asked.
“Sorry but you look to thin holly..,” commented another.
While another added: “You look amazing, but please bring your butt back!! You’re renowned for your stunning curves!!”
“Holly plz don’t loose anymore weight,” begged one of her followers. [sic]
But now in news that may comfort her worried fans, it’s been revealed that Holly’s shifting shape is all down to a good old fashioned exercise regime.
Speaking to the The Sun Online, Lynne Robinson, director of London-based Body Control Pilates, confirmed that she had been enlisted by the star to help her get tone and definition.
“I worked with Holly for several months, teaching her privately at her home once a week,” the fitness guru said.
“Holly had postnatal matt work classes which concentrated on strengthening and toning her core.”
Holly Willoughby and body confidence – trying to set an example
It comes as no surprise that Holly would want to take a measured approach to honing her physique. Speaking to Prima Magazine at the end of last year, the 36-year-old revealed that while she’s often probed about her diet and fitness regime, she refuses to talk about it. The reason? She doesn’t want to ‘encourage’ eating disorders.
“I don’t want to encourage eating disorders. I try not to focus too much on my appearance. As long as I’m being healthy, that’s good enough for me.”
The presenter also emphasised that her appearance wasn’t the central focus of her life.
“I’m quite active and I try not to let the way I look be the main focus because it’s not the important thing.”
Holly also spoke about meeting people with eating disorders in her role as co-host for the hit daytime show, and how this had impacted her decision.
“I actually avoid talking about my diet and exercise regime because I have interviewed so many people affected by eating disorders.”
She added: “I know that some people in chat rooms can really fixate on other people’s diets.”
