But when the latest line-up of celebs take to the dance floor, we’ll see an entirely different side of Countdown‘s Rachel Riley.
The full list may not have been announced yet, but she’s already the bookies’ strongest contender, with odds of 4/1 at Ladbrokes to win the competition.
Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: ‘Rachel’s bound to put some of her fellow contestants in a conundrum and the early money suggests she’s the one to beat.’
Close behind her are Sophie Ellis-Bextor and ex-Hollyoaks star Ashley Taylor-Dawson, who are looking likely to be popular with voters.
At the other end of scale is Vanessa Feltz, who hasn’t inspired much confidence in punters, her odds currently at 40/1.
Abbey Clancy is another star who’s predicted to be a popular choice on the dance floor, though perhaps not entirely for her moves….
Jessica added: ‘As soon as Rachel and Abbey start wearing the more revealing outfits we’re anticipating Strictly’s ratings will rocket past X Factor‘s!’
