We’ve seen them shimmy and shake for the first time – what do you think of the new Strictly couples?

The new series of Strictly Come Dancing has got off to a great start, with the latest batch of celebrities getting on down to Don’t Stop Me Now on the dancefloor and pairing up with their professional dancers.

Fern Britton admits to Woman’s Own, ‘I wasn’t expecting to get Artem and I’m absolutely thrilled to bits! He’s a Strictly winner for a start – and bloody gorgeous! We’ve already had a conversation about how we’re going to work very hard together, but I’ve had to promise I won’t burst into tears!’

However, while the celebrities and dancers insist they’re all friends, Woman’s Own columnist Richard Arnold, partnered with Erin Boag, isn’t so sure. ‘Give it four weeks and we’ll be breaking heels off shoes, slicing trousers at the back… all that will be going on,’ he jokes.

The full list of celebrity and dancer pairings are:
