Sheridan SmithSheridan Smith sadly missed out on the Best Female Drama Performance award at this year’s NTAs, for her role as Charmian in Mrs Biggs, but she won’t let that put her off.

‘Mrs Biggs was such an incredible experience,’ she told Woman’s Own on the red carpet. ‘We really became like a family on it. It was a real journey and my favourite thing I did last year.’

Sheridan is currently filming the Jonathan Creek Easter special with Alan Davies, and is also looking forward to joining Britain’s Got Talent judge David Walliams on stage in the West End later this year.

‘He’s playing Bottom and I’m sure he’ll be very funny,’ she says.
