Rumours have been flying around recently about who will be on the 2013 judges line up with Mel B also apparently being considered for a spot.
But, according to reports today, ITV bosses have finally agreed a deal with the former music manager convincing her to return five years after she first appeared on the show.
Sharon, 60, will apparently be replacing Tulisa who is believed to have been given the boot from the talent show.
The news comes at a time when Sharon and husband Ozzy are battling rumours that their marriage may be in crisis after he admitted to abusing alcohol and drugs.
A source said: ‘Sharon’s been through hell lately, so X Factor was not front of mind. But she loves the show and missed it. Things with Ozzy have calmed down but they’re a long way off being sorted.’
And if the hefty pay packet wasn’t enough Sharon will also be getting an extra budget of £300,000 to spend on first class flights, hotels, hair and make up.
Good to have you back Shazza!
