The third season of Broadchurch is already underway, and we’re already hooked!

There’s been plenty of new additions to the casting line up to keep things interesting, and none more welcome than the lovely Sarah Parish!

But if you thought the 48-year-old’s role as Cath Atwood – the best friend of rape victim Trish Winterman – was shocking enough, then you’ll need to keep your eyebrows raised for this news.

The actress has revealed that she splashed out £3,500 on a non-invasive procedure to keep her skin looking taught, and credits the pioneering treatment for getting her camera-ready.

“I had treatment four months ago, and it’s still working now,” she said.

“The difference I feel in my skin is incredible; there’s definitely a tightening feeling and I’ve lost those little jowls that I had before.

‘The texture and quality of my skin feels completely different and we’re only four months in so it’s just going to keep getting better and better.

‘The reason I came to have Ultherapy was because I was noticing on camera it was becoming increasingly hard to light me in certain ways because I was losing laxity in my skin.

“And becoming a little bit jowly, and slightly hollowed [in my cheeks].”

The 75-minute procedure – which the star had at London’s Cosmetic Skin Clinic –  is described as the perfect way to to ‘lift, tone and tighten your skin using safe, time-tested ultrasound technology’.

And Parish isn’t the only one to have succumbed to the charms of this quick facial fix. Starlet Jennifer Aniston is also reportedly a fan.
