She may be the younger sibling. But that hasn’t stopped one-year-old Princess Charlotte of Cambridge from making her mark.
One of the youngest members of the Royal Family is already taking charge, according to the Duchess of Cambridge. Speaking to a fellow mum as she and Prince William helped Queen Elizabeth unveil a special war memorial yesterday, Kate couldn’t help but share a few titbits about her adorable children.
Samantha Burge, wife of Warrant Officer Class 2 Chris Burge, told reporters:
“She said that Charlotte is growing up really fast. She is the one in charge.”
“We have both got 2-year-olds and they are ruling the roost. It was a bit of a mummy chat.”
Samantha is mum to daughters Isabella, 4, and Amelia, 22 months – almost mirroring the ages of the young prince and princess.
And the adorable revelations didn’t stop there!
“[She said] they are both becoming really good friends, George and Charlotte,” Samantha added.
Charlotte has already proved a force to be reckoned with on the royal tour of Canada last year, tearing round a party hosted in the royal’s honour and showing no signs of being shy and retiring!
The soon to be two-year-old has also shown qualities that are surprisingly similar to her grandmother the Queen.
Princess Charlotte turns two on May 2nd, and we can’t wait to see what the rest of 2017 will bring!
