We all know that the royal family have friends in high places. They are no strangers to rubbing shoulders with the stars on red carpets all over the world, and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge showed off their own star power earlier this year when they wowed crowds at the BAFTAs.
So, it should come as no surprise that Kate and William have a few global superstars in their phonebook. Such as, the one and only Lady Gaga!
As part of the Heads Together #oktosay film series that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry have been promoting, Prince William debuted a new film this morning featuring the future king chatting to chart music Queen Lady Gaga via FaceTime.
As Prince William sat in his formal study in the UK, Lady Gaga could be seen at home in her kitchen in LA. The pair clearly have friendly relationship, evident through the candid nature of their conversation.
The film premiered on the official Royal Family Facebook page this morning and you can watch it here:
Prince William also discussed his two children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, during the call. “Catherine and I are clear that we want both George and Charlotte to grow up feeling able to talk about their emotions and feelings” Prince William revealed.
The pair will see each other in person in October when the singer comes over to the UK. The Duke and Lady Gaga arranged to meet to have a wider discussion on how they can work together and do more to tackle stigma on mental health.
Prince William invited Lady Gaga to meet up, to which the singer responded, “I would love that”.
