Prince Harry and his girlfriend Meghan Markle were spotted buying a Christmas tree together in Battersea Park on Monday night.

After Harry made a quick pit-stop to see Meghan following his 14 day royal tour in the Caribbean, the couple have been reunited again in London.

American actress Meghan has flown to the UK to be with Harry, and the pair have been spotted getting in to the festive spirit!

The couple are preparing to celebrate their first Christmas together since they began dating in July. However, the young lovers will be unable to spend Christmas Day together.

Prince Harry, 32, is ‘expected to spend Christmas at Sandringham with the rest of the Royal family’. Unfortunately, Meghan is unlikely to join him as ‘royal convention requires partners to be engaged before they receive an invitation’. The 35-year-old actress is likely to return to the US to spend Christmas with her friends and family.

So, the young couple are making the most of the time they have together now, to celebrate the festive season. They were spotted popping in to Pines and Needles in Battersea yesterday to buy a Christmas tree together.

Stunned shop staff were left speechless as the down-to-earth Prince and his girlfriend picked out a 6ft Nordman Fir for £59.95, and paid an extra £1 for charity. They also reportedly bought some mistletoe – for those romantic festive moments!

The Prince then carried the tree back to his car himself, holding Meghan’s hand the whole time. Shop staff described the couple as ‘charming’.
