Jeff Brazier Jade Goody revelation: Father of two reveals “watching footage of Jade was very emotional for me” as he helps the boys remember her.
In a heartbreaking video post to his social media accounts, dad Jeff Brazier has opened up about why he is so thankful, and how he helps his sons remember their late mother, Jade Goody.
Following the harrowing news this week of the horrific fire in Grenfell tower, West London, the father of two was moved to share “a very understated message of gratitude”.
“Even in the darkest of times there are always glimmers of light” he said.
The 38-year-old went on to say, “I’m very grateful for everybody who is helping make a difference for those that have found themselves homeless after the Ladbroke Grove situation”.
The doting dad then revealed that following his appearance on Loose Women, he realized that watching old videos of Jade on TV with his boys would be cathartic although also “very emotional”. It also serves as a nice way for his sons to see their mum again, and remember her.
Jeff is dad to two boys, Bobby Jack Brazier and Freddie Brazier. Bobby is now 14 and Freddie is 12. They lost their mum Jade to cervical cancer in 2009. Bobby was just seven at the time and Freddie was only five.
“I also am grateful for the fact that after my turn out on Loose Women last week, I realised that watching footage of Jade was very emotional for me” Jeff said in the honest video post.
He also revealed that he had discussed the idea of watching some of Jade’s old shows with his sons first. “Having spoken to the boys about it, tonight we watched some of her Living TV appearances on Jade’s Salon.”
