Last year, singer Michael Bublé and wife Luisana Lopilato received the devastating diagnosis that their three-year-old son Noah has liver cancer.

And now it’s been revealed that there’s finally some happy news for the family-of-four. Mum Luisana revealed that the family has now returned to her native Argentina after Noah successfully completed four months of chemotherapy in the US. Speaking at a press conference she told of her joy at the happy outcome, she said:

Celebrating this birthday with my favorite people !! Memories are made of this. #family #41 #starwars

“Thank God, my son is well. When things like those that happened to us occur, your take on life changes.

“It happened to us. Now I value life much more, the now and the today.”

She also went on to thank fans and well wishers for their unending support, adding:

“I would like to thank people for their support, for the prayers they said, for their love.

“And I want them to know that they reached us and that it helped us a lot to come through this.

“It’s difficult for me to speak about this, it’s very recent and I’m still a bit sensitive about the subject.”

“But the love is daily, when people stop me in the street. It’s wonderful to know that you’re accompanied in life and that people love you.”

Noah’s battle – things begin to turn around

Noah’s condition began to take a turn for the better last month, with dad Michael posting this update on Facebook.

Thanking medical professionals for their tireless work, the father-of-two said:

“Our gratitude to his doctors and caretakers cannot be put into words.”

He also had kind words for the family’s fans and well wishers:

“We’d like to thank the thousands of people that have sent their prayers and good wishes to us. As we continue this journey we are greatly comforted by your support and love.”

Despite the encouraging news, the singer is continuing to step back from professional commitments in order to focus on being there for his son. E! reported that the Canadian hitmaker has has withdrawn from hosting the 2017 Juno Awards.

Last month Argentinian journalist, Tomas Dente, announced a breakthrough news on Noah’s cancer battle.

Reading a note from the three-year-old’s aunt Daniela Lopilato on TV, he said:

“I’m going to read word for word what Daniela told me because I don’t want to miss out even a comma.

“She tells me, ‘Yes, Noah is recovering and we’re very happy that’s the case.
“His parents will speak when they want to do so.”

He added: “There’s a sentence which I think is wonderful and has to do with the information a colleague of mine had received.

“And I insist there’s no official confirmation because Noah’s parents haven’t spoken but in principle the youngster is on the mend.

“The sentence is, ‘The cancer has gone.'”

Noah’s cancer diagnosis

The singer announced the sad news on his Facebook page. The 41-year-old received an outpouring of love and support from fans and well-wishers worldwide. The three year old was devastatingly diagnosed with liver cancer last November.

The dad-of-two confirmed that Noah was undergoing treatment and vowed that he and his family of four would work hard “to win this battle” as they take on the disease.

Singer Michael Bublé was asked to host next month’s BRIT Awards, an honour that would be a major career high for the star. However, the father-of-two has pulled out of the gig in order to care for his eldest son, Noah.

Although Bublé cancelled all work commitments following the diagnosis, he was expected to make his presenting debut at next month’s ceremony.

The 41-year-old said he was determined to focus on saving his child’s life. As a result, his career is on hold while ‘his priority is his family’.Michael Bublé

Noah is thought to be undergoing four months of chemotherapy in a bid to recover from the illness. Michael’s sister-in-law Daniela said doctors had given the tot a 90 per cent chance of survival. “They say children are normally strong to put up with chemotherapy and my nephew is a warrior,” she added.

Speaking to Gente magazine mum Luisana shared her heartbreak over the diagnosis. “Cancer is a horrible illness but we have faith in Noah being able to overcome this,” she said. “We know he will. The time to start a long and very difficult treatment has come but it’s got to be done.”
