Mel C and Victoria Beckham recently came together when they decided not to rejoin the reformed Spice Girls group ‘Gem’, but it seems that’s where meeting of minds ended for the two former pop starlets.

Asked to reflect on her girl band days – and the nicknames that were given to group members – it seems that the 43-year-old couldn’t resist a dig at the fashion designer. On Posh’s moniker, she had this to say:

โ€œThat is probably the one which rings the least true,โ€ she told BBC Satellite radio. Oooh!

Did things get any warmer when it came to talking about Baby, Scary and Ginger? Yep they sure did, with Mel arguing that Scary was an apt alter ego for Mel B. Apparently the America’s Got Talent judge โ€œreally is petrifyingโ€.

There was also praise for Geri’s 90s’ name:

โ€œShe is not the bright ginger she was back in the day, there is definitely some red tones.โ€

Mel also failed to find any holes in Emma Bunton’s pop persona.

โ€œI love her [Victoria Beckham}. All of the girls,” she said, before adding:

โ€œI love them dearly. We do fall out, We get asked all the time are you still friends?

โ€œYes we are and yes we all will be. Yes we fall out. It is human nature.โ€
