The three royals will host some special guests at the event. The tea party is being put on for children of those who have died serving in the Armed Forces.

Everyone is talking about ‘The Kate Middleton Tea Party at the Palace’

The event, called ‘Party at the Palace’, will take place on 13th May.

The “very special tea” will be held in the grounds of Buckingham Palace. The sweet idea has been masterminded by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry as a way to honour children who have had to overcome a terrible loss in their lives.

In an official statement, the Palace revealed, “Their Royal Highnesses hope the event will provide an opportunity for these children to broaden their support networks amongst other families with similar experiences.”

The event is expected to feature ‘various stalls, games on the lawn and the chance to explore the gardens’. Although the event sounds like something Kate and William’s two children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, would very much enjoy, it’s unknown if they will join their parents for the occasion.
