This is so lovely!
Eight years on from the death of his former partner Jade Goody, TV presenter Jeff Brazier has continued to be a doting father to their two boys Bobby, 14, and Freddy, 12. As well as raising his sons, the 38-year-old is also working hard to support others through his work as a life coach and as the author of The Grief Survival Guide.
Jade died in from cervical cancer in 2009. And while Jeff continues to honour Jade’s memory – celebrating a monthly ‘Mum’s day’ with his sons – he has exclusively revealed to Woman’s Own that he’s getting ready to move on to an exciting new chapter in his life. The father of two is preparing to pop the question to his partner Kate!
Asked if he had discussed their future and wedding plans with his girlfriend of three years, PR worker Kate Dwyer, he admitted that he “would love to experience marriage.”
Continuing he added, “Growing up, marriage didn’t work out so well for anyone I knew. I think that leaves something on you, but I’m intrigued by what it might be like, so yes, I’d like to.”
And it seems that the dad-of-two has already been busy drumming up ideas for his dream nuptials.
“Kate and I have talked about it and we could imagine Portugal, because we visit there a lot and her parents have a place there – it’s beautiful. But there’s no time frame at present.”
When the big day finally arrives, as well as his wife-to-be, there are two more special people that Jeff wants by his side.
“If I got married my boys Freddy and Bobby would be my best men.”
Awww. We think Freddy and Bobby would look adorable in a pair of matching tuxedos and we’re already on the countdown for Jeff and Kate to say ‘I do’!
