It was a good night for British actress Helen Mirren last night, not only did she scoop the Best Actress award for her role as Queen Elizabeth II in The Audience, she also looked beyond stunning in a long flowing white gown. Attending the Tony Awards in New York’s Radio City Music Hall, Helen walked the red carpet with her husband Taylor Hackford, they even shared a cheeky kiss for the cameras, and she looked thrilled with her win.
Daring to bare, the 69-year-old actress wore a figure hugging dress with a plunging neckline and long flowing sleeves. With its jewel-encrusted detailing and lacy cape that hung over her back, Helen looked sensational although it was a slightly different look for the actress who usually opts for bright colours. Matching her pale dress, Helen’s hair was perfectly styled into a pretty crop with a flattering side-sweeping fringe and her make-up was natural with a subtle glam finish thanks to her pinky lipstick and light dusting of sparkly eye shadow.
What do you think of Helen’s latest red carpet look? Do you think she can pull of this dress at 69?
