The singer received some fantastic news on the eve of her birthday yesterday, after she was named the richest solo female musician in The Sunday Times Rich List.

After a sold out world tour and an award-winning album last year, the mum-of-one has increased her fortune from £85m to £125m! Not bad news to hear when you’re about to turn 29 right?!

Will this Adele tour be the singer’s last? Adele shocks fans with sad news

The multiple-award winning singer is currently on an epic 15-month world tour.

She’ll finish the tour with four, back-to-back sold-out shows at the famous Wembley Arena in London. Those performances, from 28 June to 2 July, have been described as “The Finale”.

The 28-year-old told her fans during the gig, “Touring isn’t something I’m good at. Applause makes me feel a bit vulnerable.

“I don’t know if I will ever tour again. The only reason I’ve toured is you. I’m not sure if touring is my bag.”

Breaking down into tears, the mum-of-one described the tour as “the greatest accomplishment in her career”.

Now that Adele is mum to Angelo, four, her priorities have changed. Wanting to spend more time with her son, and potentially plan for more children in the future, the singer has spoken in the past about wanting to take another long break from the spotlight.

“It’s very strange not being at home” the singer told a sold-out arena recently. Adele is known to be incredibly close to her friend and family back in London.

Finally, with the news that Adele may never tour again hitting social media, heartbroken fans shared their sorrow that they may never see her perform live.

“So, I just read that @Adele will never be touring again & I couldn’t get tickets for last year? Heartbroken is not the word to describe this” said one fan.

“This better not be true!!” exclaimed another.

Although Adele is set to take another break from the spotlight at the end of this year, hopefully the singer will make another triumphant return in the future.
